Let's Go To: Bellingham, Washington

My first trip of 2016 happened this past weekend in Bellingham, Washington - a small college town a couple of hours north of Seattle and an hour south of the Canadian border. A lot of people asked, why? where is that? - and I'm here to answer that! If you're not familiar, I've spent a few years living in the Pacific Northwest and Bellingham holds a special place in my heart. I haven't visited for about 9 years and been wanting to return. Today I'm sharing all my favorite places!

Let's Go To: Tokyo, Japan - Part II

Haneda Tokyo International Airport

Welcome back to part 2 of my Tokyo experience! Coming back to Los Angeles and adjusting back to normal life has been pretty difficult to say the least. My jet-lag lasted over a week, I got sick for a good few days and trying to get some work done has me missing Tokyo!

Here's my part 2 of my favorite places and things to do in Tokyo! If you haven't read the first one, click right here.

L.A Locals Love: New Year's Eve Party @ Union Station

The past 5 years for New Year's Eve, I've celebrated in Tokyo or Seattle. After living in Los Angeles for 3 years, this was my first time celebrating NYE here so I figured I would do something exciting! The good new is, I went through a lot of potential NYE parties in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown, Queen Mary in Long Beach, even down towards Disneyland - so if anyone ever wants to party hard in L.A for NYE, you have a plethora of choices! The bad news - it was almost impossible to pick just one.

Alas, I settled on the Prohibition NYE Party at Union Station in Downtown L.A. A roaring 20's, Great Gatsby-style party at a historical train station? Sign me up.

New Years Resolutions - Travel Edition

Happy 2016, everyone! Without any cliche reminiscing of 2015, let me just say it's been a crazy year. I never thought I would leave my career to travel, nor did I ever think I would cultivate and be welcomed to such a fun travel-loving community through Instagram and blogging. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for visiting and being a part of my year.

As far as New Year's Resolutions go, I always feel more accountable when I write them down. I figured if I posted it on the internet, maybe I would feel even more accountable? We'll see!
