Exploring the Quiet Hot-Springs Town of Suwa, Japan

No, no one thinking of visiting Japan thinks, "I'm definitely hitting up Suwa".  I mean, I was born and raised in Tokyo, lived there until I was 18 and I didn't know where Suwa was until a couple of weeks before we went.

Suwa is a small town in the Nagano Prefecture in Japan. They're known for their hot springs, although not as well known as Hakone. Again, it's not a tourist destination but my family and I loved that about it. If you're looking for a spot that's less traveled to, a quiet place with good Japanese food, enjoy nature and relax in hot springs, it's the perfect place.

South Coast Winery in Temecula & Celebrating 50 Years of Toyota's Corolla

It's funny, I've always been surrounded by Toyota vehicles. Growing up, my Dad's work car was a Toyota Camry, my Grandpa a Toyota Tacoma, my Uncle a Toyota Prius, my fiancé drives a Toyota Corolla, his sister also a Corolla, her husband a Toyota RAV4, his Mom a Toyota Avalon, his Dad a Toyota Lexus.

I mean, you get the gist.

So of course, when I was invited to celebrate Toyota Corolla's 50th Anniversary in Temecula, California, it almost felt like I was celebrating an inanimate friend's birthday since Toyota kept and continues to keep my family safe on the road.

Bungee Girl App || Meet Your Next Travel BFF

This post is sponsored by Bungee Girl App. My opinions are as always, my own.

Even though I travel with my fiancé most of the time, he has a regular office job and has to take vacation time when traveling during the week. So do most of my friends. That results to sadly watching amazing deals go by where weekday travel is required.

I always thought making new friends would be a great way to have other people to travel with but where would I find one? Tinder? Uh, no. Bumble? Could be sketchy. Craigslist? No way.

Then I was introduced to the Bungee Girl App.

So yes, 2016 was wonderful but I have a feeling 2017 is going to be even better! I already have tentative travel plans which I'll share below, a new business venture, a wedding to plan, a puppy in the works and some New Year's Resolutions I hope to accomplish!
