Best Buffets in Las Vegas: The Buffet at ARIA

Best Buffets in Vegas - The Buffet at ARIA

In 2017, I visited Las Vegas 5 times which is a personal record! If you're not too familiar with Las Vegas, the buffet scene is a serious thing there. Every hotel big or small offers a buffet and you can often buy these ridiculous unlimited 24 hour passes to selected buffets. While I've never tried the 24 hour passes, I have tried quite a few of the buffets on The Strip. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of this earlier but I'll be introducing the best buffets in Vegas on this blog each time I return to Sin City.

The first buffet I'm sharing is The Buffet at ARIA. It was actually my first time giving it a try since it was so close to where we were staying, the Monte Carlo. I have to say, I was super impressed with Aria's buffet. Just the atmosphere, cleanliness, design and customer service bumped it up to my top 3 favorite Vegas buffets before even trying the food! Don't worry, the food quality and selection went above and beyond my expectations, too.

Exploring the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada

Neon Museum Las Vegas

After visiting Las Vegas more than I can count, I finally made it to The Neon Museum! I first found out about it thanks to Instagram and ever since that, I've been fascinated. Since the only reason I was in Vegas this particular trip was for a Lady Gaga concert, I knew I could squeeze in a Neon Museum visit.

I'm so glad I did because it's really nothing like anything you'll ever experience elsewhere. I like to think I've visited quite a few museums around the world including little known spots but I can't think of anything that gets even close. It's such a classic Las Vegas museum, if that makes sense. I absolutely loved visiting and I can't wait to go back to the Neon Museum again for a night tour!

Checking In: Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach, California

Laguna Beach Hotels - Pacific Edge Hotel

Last month for my birthday, my husband took me for a surprise staycation weekend to Laguna Beach, California. Laguna Beach is one of our favorite beach towns for a relaxing time. Sometimes we'll just do a day trip to Laguna since it's close enough but we definitely prefer to stay over. After a crazy wedding month in October, this Laguna Beach weekend was exactly what the doctor ordered. Since it was my birthday, my husband went all out and booked a few nights at the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach in a beach front suite. This isn't our first time staying here but I adore it so much that I had to share this charming boutique hotel with all of you!

LA Locals Love: Lawry's Prime Rib Beverly Hills

Lawry's Beverly Hills

Some of you may be familiar with the Lawry's seasoned salt but did you know they have a high end prime rib restaurant? They have a few locations around the world: Beverly Hills, Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul. Even with all these locations, Lawry's is a family owned and operates business to this day that prides themselves in having happy employees and delivering a 'legendary experience'.

I've never been to the other locations (I plan on checking out the Lawry's in Tokyo next time!) but I've frequented the Lawry's Beverly Hills so much I've somehow ended up becoming a Lawry's VIP for their loyalty program the past few years - oops? The Lawry's Beverly Hills is quite the institution and experience as I'm sure other locations are as well. If you don't have a Lawry's Prime Rib in a location near you and visiting the Los Angeles area, I highly recommend a visit.
